Implants, aligners, veneers and full-mouth work are high-value decisions. Patients now ask AI which practice to trust with them. We make sure yours is on the list.
Dental patients increasingly ask AI tools to compare practices before they book a consultation. AI assistants answer with a short list of named practices, usually backed by reviews, clear treatment pages and GDC-registered clinicians. Practices with thin treatment pages or inconsistent listings are left out, however good their dentistry.
Examples of the questions we track for dental practices. Your own set is built around your treatments and your area.
AI tools look for evidence that the clinicians are registered. Linking each dentist to the GDC register, and only using “specialist” where they are on a GDC specialist list, builds trust.
Patients ask about cost, recovery, risks and alternatives. A practice that answers those questions clearly, treatment by treatment, gives AI something to quote.
Google reviews and dental directories are among the sources AI tools cite most. Volume, recency and consistency all matter.
The same practice name, address and phone number everywhere. Mismatched listings confuse AI systems and split your signals.
Everything we publish for private dental practices is checked by a doctor against the rules below. Breaking them is a regulatory risk, and AI tools tend to steer away from content that overpromises.
| United Kingdom | United States | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can advertise what | GDC guidance on advertising expects ads to be accurate and not misleading, and to identify the dental professional and their registration. “Specialist” may only be used by those on a GDC specialist list. | State dental boards regulate advertising. Many restrict specialty claims to dentists who hold the recognised specialty qualification. |
| Claims and pricing | The CAP Code requires claims to be backed by evidence. “From” prices must be genuinely available, and finance offers must follow consumer credit rules. | The FTC requires price and outcome claims to be truthful and substantiated. |
| Before-and-after images | Must be genuine, representative of typical results and not retouched in a way that misleads. | Must reflect typical results or be clearly qualified. Testimonials must follow the FTC endorsement guides. |
| Regulators | Practices in England must be registered with the CQC, and the registration should be easy to verify. | Patient information is covered by HIPAA. We use public information only for visibility work. |
